Provisional Registration

This type of registration is offered to a native Health professional pursued a course of Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from recognized training Institution within or outside the country.
This type of registration is valid for a period of twelve months after the applicant's request has been approved.

All registration applications are conducted online through HPRS with Url:hprs.moh.go.tz .
Therefore, the applicant is required to create an account in the HPRS system using their email address only, and no other means. Once the applicant successfully creates an account by following the system's instructions, they will proceed with the application by filling in their personal information, making sure not to forget to include their current region and district of residence, the professional council under which they are registering, academic details, and attach certified copies of each academic and birth certificates in PDF format as indicated in the "Requirements" section.

The applicant will also be required to apply for a Provisional registration under the "Registration" section and complete the process by requesting a Control Number in the "Payment" section.

The fee for this registration type is Tsh 30,000/= which is paid via requested control number to NMB bank, Agent NMB Bank or through government payments via mobile money services such as M-PESA, Airtel Money, Mixx by YAS, or HaloPesa.
Once the payment made, the review of application and approval process proceed at Council Level where by at each stage of processing the application, the applicant receives notification through their account in the HPRS system.

Once the Provision registration certificate is printed and signed, the applicant is required to pay a visit at HLPC Office with his/her origin academic and birth Certificates for further verification so as to be issued a printed Registration Certificate
